1. Information stored on your device

The app stores the information you enter locally: customers and property details, home instructions and access notes, schedules, checklists, work time, photos, estimates and invoices, payments, expenses, pricing plans, and prepared message drafts. It uses that information to provide its features on the device. These records are not uploaded to us.

2. Store purchases

Apple StoreKit handles iOS subscriptions and Google Play Billing handles Android subscriptions. Purchase, restore, and subscription-verification operations communicate with the respective store. The app stores purchase-verification information locally to determine access to Pro.

We do not collect payment-card details. Apple and Google process store-account and transaction information under their own policies and provide developers with sales and financial reporting. There is no third-party billing intermediary or app-operated purchase server.

3. Permissions and device security

Camera and selected-photo access are optional and are used for attachments you choose. Local reminders require notification permission. Optional app locking uses the operating system’s device-authentication service; the app does not receive fingerprint or face templates. The app does not request your location, microphone, address book, or advertising-tracking permission.

4. Backups and deliberate sharing

You can create a password-protected encrypted backup, export records, or share a document using a destination you choose. You can review and copy prepared messages yourself. These actions do not run automatically. A destination app, email service, or storage provider handles a shared copy under its own practices.

The app configures its business files to be excluded from ordinary automatic system backup. It does not provide iCloud or other automatic cloud synchronization. Keep your own encrypted backup outside the app and remember its password. Operating-system and destination-provider behavior is outside our control.

5. Retention and deletion

Your business records stay locally until you delete or replace them. Settings provides export, backup, restore, and deletion controls, including without Pro. Previously issued documents retain their original details as part of your records.

Deleting the app or losing a device can remove access to local records. We cannot restore them from a server or recover a backup password. Copies you deliberately exported or shared must be managed at their destination. Deleting data does not cancel store subscriptions.

6. When you contact support

If you choose to email hello@fromgeoff.com, Geoffrey Shepard receives your email address, message, and anything you attach. Email providers process the correspondence for delivery and storage. We use it to respond, investigate the issue, and maintain relevant support history; contacting support does not subscribe you to marketing.

Support correspondence is retained as needed to handle requests and related issues, and where required for legal obligations. You can request deletion using the same address. Please do not send customer names, addresses, home access codes, invoices, photos, or complete business backups. A diagnostic summary is only shared if you deliberately choose to share it; the app does not upload diagnostics in the background.

7. This website

The fromgeoff.com website is separate from the mobile app. It is hosted on Vercel, uses Vercel website analytics, and loads fonts from Google. Visiting the website can involve ordinary connection information, hosting logs, and website-usage measurements. None of this gives the website access to the app’s business database. Any optional website mailing-list signup is separate from using the app or emailing support.

8. Your choices

Manage your records directly in the app, change optional permissions in device settings, and manage subscriptions in the store where you purchased them. We do not sell your business records or use them to target advertising. For privacy questions or a request concerning correspondence you sent us, use the contact below.

9. Updates and contact
